As part of the Volkswagen Group, we are one of Ireland’s leading Skoda, SEAT and CUPRA dealers. We have recently expanded to incorporate a Used Car Centre where we provide New Car levels of customer service and aftersales care if you decide to purchase a pre-owned vehicle in our custom-built Used Car showroom facility.

As part of our commitment to the environment and our long-term decarbonisation strategy, Finbarr Galvin have recently installed a total of 85KWs of solar across two of our premises in Bandon, Co. Cork.

The motor industry has a huge part to play in the decarbonization of the transport sector. With increased sales of electric vehicles, dealerships are playing a critical role in the transition towards a cleaner, more sustainable transportation system.

At Finbarr Galvin we are committed playing our part in the decarbonization of the transport sector by implementing an ESG strategy within our business.

Having recently upgraded the lighting within the showrooms, and back of house to energy efficient LED lighting, solar was next on the agenda. 

With electric prices peaking at record levels over the last two years, we made the decision to look at the viability of solar on two of our premises. We engaged with Green Light Energy Solutions, who provided detailed analysis and a full turnkey solution which best suited our needs.
